	AMIT BHANDARI, M.D. Internal Medicine Coos Bay Dr. Bhandari was born and raised in New Delhi, India. He attended the University College of Medical Sciences in New Deli, India Medical School from 1992-2002 where he received a M.B.,B.S. and Master of Surgery (General Surgery). Dr. Bhandari’s Internal Medicine Internship and Residency programs were completed at Resurrection Westlake Hospital Internal Medicine Program in Melrose Park, Illinois from 2002 to 2005. Dr. Bhandari joined North Bend Medical Center in November 2005.

JOHN W. BRAZER, M.D. Family Practice Coquille Dr. Brazer earned his B.A. in Biology form Cornell of Iowa in 1964, and graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1969, where he became a member of the Phi Rho Sigma Medical Fraternity, lota. Dr. Brazer completed Rotating Internship at Harkness Hospital in San Francisco, California, in 1970. He obtained Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification in 1987 and 1995. Dr. Brazer is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

	DALLAS A. CARTER, M.D. Family Practice Coos Bay Dr. Carter is an Oregon native and graduate of OHSU medical school in 1987. He completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Wisconsin medical school in Madison, Wisconsin and has been board certified in Family Practice since then. He returned to Oregon to practice in Coos Bay in 1992.. He has been the medical director of South Coast Hospice since 1995 and has become specialty boarded in Hospice and Palliative Care. Dr. Carter is a member of the American Association of Family Practitioners and the Oregon Medical Association.

CHERRY, M.D. Oncology & Hematology Coos Bay Dr. Cherry was born in Rangoon (Yangon), Burma (Mayanmar). She began her medical education at the Institute of Medicine I in Lamaddaw, Rangoon, Burma, 1979-1985. She has been in the US since 1994 at All Children's Hospital University of South Florida as an Associate in Research, Department of Pediatrics. From May 1997 to August 2000 she did a Residency in Internal Medicine at Canton Medical Education Foundation, Canton, OH. From September 2002 to November 2002 she completed a Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN. Her membership in professional societies includes: American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Medical Association, American Society of Hematology, Oregon Medical Association, and Burma Medical Council, Department of Health, Rangoon, Burma. Dr. Cherry began her practice at North Bend Medical Center in February 2003.

	LANCE CHEUNG , M.D. Physical Medicine / Pain Management Coos Bay Dr. Cheung did his medical school training in Creighton University School of Medicine, finishing in 2003. He did his internship at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, finishing in 2004 and did his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stanford University School of Medicine, Palo Alto, California in 2007. Rotations included Musculoskeletal/Sports, Interventional Spine, Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Pediatric Rehabilitation and Electromyography.

BRET A. COOK, M.D. Oncology & Hematology Coos Bay Dr. Cook received a degree in Microbiology in 1990 from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Dr. Cook received a Masters in Science Degree in Pathology in 1994 and was awarded his Medical Degree in 1994 from Fich University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School, North Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Cook completed is Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa in 1977. He attended University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, Colorado where he completed his Oncology requirements in 1999 and his Hematology requirements in 2000. Dr. Cook is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine.

	JON C. COUNTS, M.D. Family Practice Myrtle Point Dr. Counts is a graduate of University of Oregon at Eugene, Oregon and Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland, Oregon. He completed his Residency at University of Texas at San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Counts was born in Roseburg, Oregon. He practiced in British Columbia for six years, and then in Salem before settling in Myrtle Point in 1984. He and his wife have two grown children. He also enjoys fly fishing and gardening. Dr. Counts Joined Coquille Valley Hospital medical staff in 1984. He joined NBMC in February 2005.

DOUGLAS G. CRANE, M.D. Internal Medicine Coos Bay Dr. Crane attended Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree, Summa Cum Laude with a major in General Science. He received his Medical Degree from James H. Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tennessee in 1998. This is where he also completed his internal medicine internship in 1998 and his residency in Internal Medicine in 2000.

	WILLIAM CROSON, MD Family Practice Coquille Dr. Croson completed his Doctorate of Medicine at University of Illinois in Chicago and did his Internship & Family Residency at University of Illinois in Urbana and then Peoria. Dr. Croson is Board Certified through the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Pain Management and the Oregon Medical Association.

JENNI C. DeLEON, M.D. Pediatrics Coos Bay Dr. DeLeon did her undergraduate work at Harvard University graduating with an A.B. in Biochemistry in June, 1990. Her medical school training was at the University of Vermont, graduating in May, 1997. She had post-graduate training from 1997 to 2000 with an Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. DeLeon is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and joined North Bend Medical Center in December 2004.

	AUDREY DUKE, FNP Family Practice Coos Bay Audrey was born in Medford, OR. She received her BS in Nursing in 1998 from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon and her MSN and FNP Certification from University of Portland in 2000. She received her Board Certification for Perioperative Nursing CNOR in 1994 and National FNP Board Certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2002. Audrey is a member of the Oregon Nurses Association and a volunteer for Missions in Health.

VICKI FAUCHER, FNP Family Practice Coos Bay Vicki was born in Phoenix, AZ. She received her dual major BA/BM in Administration and Management from University of Phoenix in 1994 and her BS in Nursing at Columbia University in 2000. She continued her education at University of California where she received her MSN and FNP Certification in 2002. Vicki received her National FNP Board Certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2004 and is a member of the American Nurses Association and California Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.

	BRITTA D. FINK, M.D. Obstetrics & Gynecology Coos Bay Dr. Fink was born and raised in Tucson, AZ, and went to Swarthmore College with a double BA in English Lit and Biology. Dr. Fink did her medical school training in Wake Forest University School of Medicine and her Internship and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maricopa County Medical Center, the Phoenix Integrated Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is a member of the Oregon Medical Association. Dr. Fink is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and received her American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology Fellowship in 2007.

ROBERT W. GERBER, M.D. Family Practice Coos Bay Dr. Gerber graduated from the Canal Zone College/Gorgas U.S. Army Hospital in 1983, earning a B.S. His medical degree was awarded in 1987 from the University of Medical Sciences, San Jose, Costa Rica. While living in Central America he became fluent in Spanish. Dr. Gerber received postgraduate training at the University of Miami, completing a three year Family Practice residency in 1992. He is a Diplomate of and board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

	STEVEN R. GISS, M.D., F.A.C.S. General Surgery Coos Bay Dr. Giss received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Biology Honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, California. Dr. Giss obtained his Medical Degree in 1995 from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his General Surgical Internship at Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio in 1996 and completed his General Surgical Residency in 2000. Dr. Giss is Board Certified through the American Board of Surgery.

JEFFERY S. GIVENS, M.D. Family Practice Coos Bay Dr. Givens received his bachelor of science degree at the University of Alberta in 1991. His earned his medical degree from the University of Calgary in 1994. He completed a residency in family practice at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada in 1996. Dr. Givens is board certified by the Canadian Board of Family Practice.

	E. REED GURNEY JR., M.D. Family Practice Myrtle Point Dr. Gurney is a graduate of Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine, Portland, Oregon. He completed his Residency at San Bernardino County Medical Center, San Bernardino, California. Dr. Gurney was born in Portland, Oregon. He began his practice in 1977, following in his father's footsteps and practicing beside him for several years. Time spent away from his practice is spent with his wife and four children, three of whom are in college. He also enjoys fishing, camping with his family, and gardening. He joined the Coquille Valley Hospital medical staff in 1977. He joined NBMC in February 2005.

LAURIE L. HAMILTON, D.O. Obstetrics & Gynecology Coos Bay Laurie Linn Hamilton, DO Dr. Hamilton was born in Monterey, California. She completed her BS Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1982. She received her DO from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa in 2000 and completed her Internship and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2004. Dr. Hamilton is a member of the American Medical Association and Oregon Medical Association and is Board Eligible by the ACOG and will become certified in 2007.

	ROBERT WALTER HUNTER, M.D. Internal Medicine Dr. Hunter was born in Boise, Idaho and was raised in San Diego, California and Kirkland, Washington. Dr Hunter received his Medical Degree from University of Hawaii in 1995 and completed his Internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1996. He served in the U.S. Army, Medical Officer/Urgent Care Physician at Scofield Barracks, HI from 1996 to 2001. He was a Staff Physician at Medical Corner Kapolei in Kapolei, HI and Locum Tenens physician from 2001 to 2004. Dr. Hunter completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at University of Hawaii in 2004. Other studies include Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine, Naval Dive Salvage Training Center in Panama City, FL. Publications: Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine 2006 "NIHSS as Applied to Neurologic Injuries in Divers". RICHARD S. JANY, M.D., L.L.C. Orthopedic Surgery Coos Bay Dr. Jany received his Bachelor's degree from St. Louis University in 1977 and continued his graduate studies there from 1977-1978. Richard received his Medical Degree in 1982 from St. Louis University School of Medicine. His Internship was completed at U.S. Naval Hospital, Oakland, California from 1982-1983, and Residency from 1984-1988. Dr. Jany is Board Certified with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

	NANCY KELLER, M.D. Family Practice Coquille Dr. Keller earned her bachelor of arts degree in mathematics and biology from the University of Oregon in 1987 and graduated Cum Laude from Oregon Health Science University School of Medicine in 1989. She completed her family practice residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1992. She has been a practicing family physician in Coquille ever since graduating from her residency in July 1992. She enjoys obstetrics and pediatrics, as well as the full range of family practice.

WILLIAM D. KING, M.D. Internal Medicine Coos Bay Dr. King was born in Macon, Georgia. Dr. King’s undergraduate education was completed in 1972 at University of Wisconsin where he received a Bachelor of Science, with a major in Biology. He received his Medical Degree in 1976 from university of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. His internship and Residency programs were completed at University of Minnesota Hospitals in Minneapolis Minnesota from 1976 to 1979. Dr. King completed his Fellowship Program in 1980 at Minneapolis Minnesota Veterans Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 	LOWELL E. KOBRIN, M.D., Ph.d. Acupuncture Coos Bay Dr. Kobrin received his B.S. degree from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, in 1965. He received his M.D. degree from Jefferson Medical College of Philadelphia in 1971 and his Ph.D. in anatomy from Thomas Jefferson University School of Graduate Studies in 1974. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, N.Y. in 1975, and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1977. Dr. Kobrin received his basic acupuncture training through the UCLA Medical Acupuncture for Physicians training program in 1984. He is board certified by both the American Board of Gynecology & the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture.

LEO KUSUDA, M.D. Urology Coos Bay Dr. Kusuda was born in Newark, New Jersey. He received a B.E.S. in Bioengineering in 1977 from Johns Hopkins University. He completed his MD at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He then completed his urology internship & residency at Oakland Naval Hospital in Oakland, CA. Dr. Kusuda also completed a urologic oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloane-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He completed his military career in the US Navy in Chesapeake, Virginia and served from 1981 through 2007 when he retired with the rank of Captain. He is board certified through the American Board of Urology , a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of the American Urological Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, Society of Government Services Urologists, and the Oregon Medical Association.

	FRANK A. LARSON, M.D., F.A.C.S. General Surgery Coos Bay http://www.doclarson.com Dr. Larson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He entered Colorado State University in 1979 and was the top graduate in the College of Natural Sciences when he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1983. He received his medical degree in 1987 from St. Louis University Medical School. Dr. Larson completed a five-year General Surgery residency in June 1992 at the University of Kansas in Kansas City. His training included general, vascular, thoracic, and laparoscopic surgery with a special emphasis in vascular surgery.
He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He performs all facets of general surgery with special interest in vascular surgery, thoracic surgery and complex laparoscopic procedures (including gastroesophageal reflux surgery and bariatric surgery). Dr. Larson and his wife and son live in North Bend. His hobbies include running, backpacking and kayaking. Dr. Larson joined Dr. Massey and Dr. Keizer in the Department of Surgery at North Bend Medical Center in July 1992. Practice Philosophy: "The thought of needing surgery often produces anxiety in the patient and their family. PHILIP C. LaGESSE, M.D. Pediatrics Coos Bay Dr. LaGesse obtained his bachelor of arts degree from Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1979. He received his medical degree in 1989 from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Dr. LaGesse did his internship and residency in general pediatrics at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, and also completed a fellowship in pediatric pulmonary medicine in 1995. Dr. LaGesse is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics and is board certified in pediatric pulmonary medicine.

THOMAS F. McANDREW, M.D. Family Practice Coos Bay Dr. McAndrew received his B.A. in Zoology in 1977 from Humbolt State University, Arcata, California. His Masters of Public Health was obtained from UCLA School of Public Health in 1980 with a special emphasis on nutrition and epidemiology. His Medical Degree was awarded from the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, in 1985. A three year Family Practice residency program was completed at Scenic General Hospital, Modesto, California. Dr. McAndrew is certified by the American Board of Family Practice. 	CARLA D. McKELVEY, M.D. Pediatrics Coos Bay Dr. McKelvey received her B.A. in English with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1983. She was awarded her medical degree from the University Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in June 1993. FRANK Y. MUKAIDA, M.D. Obstetrics & Gynecology Coos Bay Dr. Mukaida received a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from University of Washington in 1988, majoring in Biology and Psychology. Dr. Mukaida received a Masters of Science in 1992 in Genetics, specializing in Cell, Molecular and Neuro Science from the University of Hawaii. 	CHRISTOPHER M. MULLER, M.D. Internal Medicine Coos Bay Dr. Muller received his B.S. in Biology from Stanford University in California. His medical degree was awarded from the University of Nevada in Reno in 1985. He interned at the University of California at Davis. His three year residency program was also at the University of California. Dr. Muller is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Muller is a member of the American Medical Association as well as the Theta Xi Fraternity. He also received recognition for Outstanding Performance as a Resident. His subspecialty is Nephrology.


	BANG T. NGUYEN, D.O. Internal Medicine Coos Bay Dr. Nguyen's undergraduate studies were at the University of California, Irvine where he received a B.S. in Biological Sciences, Cum Laude, June 1991. Bang received his Doctor of Osteopathy Degree in June 1995 from The College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Pomona, California. His residency program was from July 1995-June 1998 at Maricopa Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Phoenix, Arizona. Internship was also completed at Maricopa Medical Center from July 1998-July 1999. Dr. Nguyen is Board Certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine.

DAVID E. OELKE, M.D. Internal Medicine Coos Bay Dr. Oelke received his B.S. from the University of Illinois in 1963 and his medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School in 1966. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Biology/Religious Studies from University of California, Santa Cruz, California in 1988. He attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine from August 1989 to June 1991. He received his medical degree from Universidad Central Del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico where he attended from 1991 to 1994. He completed a year of Family Practice Residency from 1994 to 1995 at University of Southern California/California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. BASIL PITTENGER, M.D. Internal Medicine Coos Bay Basil Pittenger, M.D. was born in Hamilton, New York and raised in Florence, Oregon. He attended University of Alaska Fairbanks, where he received a B.S. in Mathematics in 1995 and continued his education there from 1995 to 1997, majoring in Biochemistry. He attended medical school at the University of Washington and received his medical degree there in 2001. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship in 2002 and his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington in June 2004. Dr. Pittenger joined NBMC in July 2004. His practice is limited to Internal Medicine with a specialty interest in cardiovascular disease.

	DONNA L. RABIN, M.D. Pediatrics Coos Bay Dr. Rabin earned her B.S. in Special Education from the University of Illinois in 1971. She received her medical degree in 1977 from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. She served her internship with children's Hospital of Los Angeles 1977-1978, and residency from 1978-1980 at the same hospital. Dr. Rabin received a Fellowship at the UCLA School of Medicine in child development from 1980-1981. Dr. Rabin is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

RAJESH RAVURI, M.D. Internal Medicine Coos Bay Dr. Ravuri attended Andhra Medical College, AP, India where he received his MBBS, Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees in 1996. His pre-med education was from June 1988 to May 1990, when he graduated among the top 1% of his class in college in A.P., India. He did a one-year internship from 1995-1996 at King George Hospital, A.P., India and was a Resident Medical Officer at Kakinanda Hospital, A.P., India from 1997-1998. He completed his internship at Rush Westlake Hospital, Melrose Park, Illinois in 1990 and Residency at Resurrection-Westlake Hospital, Melrose Park, Illinois in 2002. 	W.S. RICHARDSON, M.D. Internal Medicine Coos Bay Dr. Richardson earned his bachelor of arts degree in zoology from UCLA, Los Angeles, California, in 1972. He received his medical degree in 1977 from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. His postgraduate training included an internship in internal medicine at LAC/USC Medical Center from 1977 through 1978 with residencies from 1978 to 1980 at the same hospital. Dr. Richardson received a fellowship in critical care medicine from LAC/USC Medical Center from 1980 through 1981 while serving as a chief resident. Dr. Richardson is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

CHARLES M. ROESEL, M.D. Family Practice Coquille Dr. Roesel is a graduate of American University of the Caribbean. He completed his residency at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Dr. Roesel grew up in Petersburg, Alaska. He graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic West in Sunnyvale, California. He was in practice in Petersburg, Alaska for four years and then went back to medical school. He is married, has five children and enjoys running, biking and hiking with his family. Dr. Roesel joined the Coquille Valley Hospital medical staff in 1997. He joined NBMC in February 2005.

	DANIEL M. RUSU, M.D. Physical Medicine / Pain Management Coos Bay Dr. Rusu did his medical school training at UMF Carol Davila Romania and completed his residency in anesthesia at Cook County Anesthesia and Pain Residency program at John Stroger Hospital in Chicago, Illinois from July 2002 through July 2005. Dr. Rusu practices multimodal pain management of acute and chronic pain working in close collaboration with the primary care physician, using pharmacologic treatment combined with interventional procedures. Dr. Rusu joined NBMC in January 2008.

KENT D. SHARMAN, M.D. Family Practice Coos Bay Dr. Sharman received his B.S. from the University of California at Davis in 1976 and his medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York in 1980. He received postgraduate training at the University of California at Davis, completing a Family Practice residency in 1983. He is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice, becoming board certified in 1983. He is a volunteer member of the faculty at OHSU School of Medicine. Dr. Sharman offers comprehensive family-oriented health services, including medical, pediatric and obstetrical care.

	STEVEN G. SHIMOTAKAHARA, M.D. Otolaryngology Coos Bay Dr. Shimotakahara comes to North Bend Medical Center from Johns Hopkins University Hospital where he was on faculty in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. After receiving his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal in 1978, he completed an internship at the Toronto General Hospital and a year of Internal Medicine at the Montreal General Hospital. He then spent five years in family practice in rural Nova Scotia. Dr. Shimotakahara is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

FRANCES SHIREMAN, M.D. Internal Medicine Coos Bay Frances Shireman, M.D. was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Shireman completed her B.A.M.D. Degree at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Shireman is a member of the American College of Physicians/ASIM and the Oregon Medical Association. Dr. Shireman started her Internal Medicine Practice at North Bend Medical Center in October 2003.

	ODED Z. SHULSINGER, M.D. Internal Medicine Coos Bay Dr. Shulsinger received his B.A. in psychology from Brooklyn College in 1967 and his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School in 1971. Dr. Shulsinger completed his internship in 1972 and his medical residency in 1976, serving as a Chief Resident, Los Angeles County USC Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

JAMES J. SINNOTT, M.D. Family Practice Coquille Dr. Sinnott is a graduate of the University of Iowa at Iowa City, Iowa. He completed his residency at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Sinnott was born in Des Moines, Iowa. After practicing a year in Coquille, he joined the Myrtle Point Medical Center. He lives just outside Coquille and spends time away from his practice with his wife and three children. He also enjoys woodworking. He joined the Coquille Valley Hospital medical staff in 1984 and was elected Chief of the Medical Staff in January 1994. He joined NBMC in February 200.

	GERELDINE A. SOMERA, M.D. Internal Medicine Coos Bay Dr. Somera was born and raised in Mandaluyong, Rizal, Philippines. She received her undergraduate education, at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines, 1991-1995 where she received a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Psychology. Her Medical School and Clinical Clerkship education was from 1995 – 1999 at University of Santo Tomas, Espana, Manila Philippines where she received her Doctor of Medicine and Surgery. Her Post-Graduate Internship program was from 1999-2000 at Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan, Metro Janila, Philippines. Dr. Somera completed her Internal Medicine Residency Training from 2002 to 2005 at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Somera joined North Bend Medical Center in November 2005.

JAMES SPRINGER, M.D. Family Practice Bandon Dr. Springer did his medical school training at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Montserrat, British West Indies where he received his Medical Degree in 1987. His Family Practice Residency Program was at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana from 1988 to 1991. Dr. Springer is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. He joined North Bend Medical Center at our Bandon location in October 2004.

	CARLOS SUAREZ, M.D. Family Practice Bandon Dr. Carlos Suarez received his medical degree at Universidad Cayetano Heredia ( LIMA - PERU )and was licensed in Peru in 2000. Later in 2003 he attended East Tennessee State University in Kingsport where he completed his Family Medicine Residency program in 2006. In addition to Family Medicine, Dr. Suarez went to several training programs to supplement his alternative medicine knowledge such as the prestigious Helms Medical Institute ( Berkeley California ) for his Medical Acupuncture Training, Wake Forest University for Nutrition and Herbal Medicine, University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil for Nutrition, the Upledger Institute for Craniosacral therapy and the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Dr. Suarez joined North Bend Medical Center at our Bandon location in December 2006.


	LAWRENCE E. TAYLOR, D.O. Family Practice Gold Beach Dr. (Ted) Taylor received his degree from the University of Missouri in 1976. After graduating from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1980, he completed a rotating internship at the Flint Osteopathic Hospital. Dr. Taylor is board certified in Family Practice by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. He is a member of the Oregon Medical Association, the Curry Medical Society, and the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon.

STEVEN A. TERSIGNI, M.D., F.A.C.S. General Surgery Coos Bay http://www.baybariatrics.com Dr. Tersigni received his undergraduate degree in Italian from Brigham Young University. He spent two years in Northern Italy doing mission work for the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints and is fluent in Italian. Dr. Tersigni received his medical degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He came to this area from the University of Kansas Medical Center where he spent five years as a Resident in General Surgery. His practice focuses on general vascular and thoracic surgery. Dr. Tersigni is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.

	WILLIAM W. WEBSTER , M.D. Otolaryngology Coos Bay Dr. Webster was born in Omaha, NE and raised in Lafayette, CA. He received a BS in Biology at University of Nebraska in 1995 and a MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Montana in 1998. He received his MD at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS and completed his Internship in General Surgery in 2003 at University of California San Francisco-East Bay Program in Oakland, CA and his Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, CA in 2007. He is Board Eligible in March 2008 through the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Webster is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, California Medical Association, East Bay Surgical Society, American Medical Association and Oregon Medical Association.

REGINALD G. WILLIAMS, M.D. Family Practice Gold Beach Dr. Williams earned his medical degree from Temple University Medical School in 1971. He completed his internship and family practice residency at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Washington, in 1972. Dr. Williams is board certified and a diplomate of the American Academy of Family Practice. He is also ATLS and ACCS certified.

	SUZANNE YOST, F.N.P. Family Practice Bandon Suzie was born in Hastings, NE. She received her BA in Social Welfare in 1984 and BS in Nursing in 1986 at Humbolt State University in Arcata, CA. She received her MSN at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA in 1999 and her Family Nurse Practitioner certification in 1999. Suzie received her National FNP Board Certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in April 2007. She is also a member of the American Association of Diabetic Educators.
