He attended the University College of Medical Sciences in New Deli, India - Medical School from 1992-2002 where he received a M.B.,B.S. and Master of Surgery (General Surgery). Dr. Bhandari's Internal Medicine Internship and Residency programs were completed at Resurrection Westlake Hospital Internal Medicine Program in Melrose Park, Illinois from 2002 to 2005. Dr. Bhandari joined North Bend Medical Center in November 2005.

DOUGLAS G. CRANE, M.D. Coos Bay
Dr. Crane attended Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree, Summa Cum Laude with a major in General Science. He received his Medical Degree from James H. Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tennessee in 1998. This is where he also completed his internal medicine internship in 1998 and his residency in Internal Medicine in 2000.

ROBERT WALTER HUNTER, M.D. Coos Bay
Dr. Hunter was born in Boise, Idaho and was raised in San Diego, California and Kirkland, Washington.
Dr Hunter received his Medical Degree from University of Hawaii in 1995 and completed his Internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1996. He served in the U.S. Army, Medical Officer/Urgent Care Physician at Scofield Barracks, HI from 1996 to 2001. He was a Staff Physician at Medical Corner Kapolei in Kapolei, HI and Locum Tenens physician from 2001 to 2004. Dr. Hunter completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at University of Hawaii in 2004. Other studies include Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine, Naval Dive Salvage Training Center in Panama City, FL. Publications: Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine 2006 "NIHSS as Applied to Neurologic Injuries in Divers". Dr. Hunter is Board Certified in Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Medical Association, Hyperbaric and Undersea Medical Society and the Oregon Medical Association. He joined NBMC in January 2007. |

WILLIAM D. KING, M.D. Coos Bay Dr. King was born in Macon, Georgia. Dr. King's undergraduate education was completed in 1972 at University of Wisconsin where he received a Bachelor of Science, with a major in Biology. He received his Medical Degree in 1976 from university of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. His internship and Residency programs were completed at University of Minnesota Hospitals in Minneapolis Minnesota from 1976 to 1979. Dr. King completed his Fellowship Program in 1980 at Minneapolis Minnesota Veterans Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. King has been practicing in the Bay Area since 1984 and joined North Bend Medical Center in November 2005

WILLIAM J. MORIARTY, M.D. Coos Bay
William J. Moriarty, M.D. was born in Hartford, Connecticut. He attended Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion in 1980. He attended Harvard Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts and received a Master of Science Degree in Theological Studies in 1984. Dr. Moriarty received his Medical Degree in 1988 from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his Medical Internship in 1989 and Residency in Internal Medicine in 1991 at University of California, San Francisco in San Francisco, California. Dr. Moriarty became certified by the American Medical Director Association with a specialty in Long Term Care in 2001. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Oregon Medical Association. Dr. Moriarty has been a practicing physician in Oregon since 1996 and joined North Bend Medical Center in April 2004.

CHRISTOPHER M. MULLER, M.D. Coos Bay
Dr. Muller received his B.S. in Biology from Stanford University in California. His medical degree was awarded from the University of Nevada in Reno in 1985. He interned at the University of California at Davis. His three year residency program was also at the University of California. Dr. Muller is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Muller is a member of the American Medical Association as well as the Theta Xi Fraternity. He also received recognition for Outstanding Performance as a Resident. His subspecialty is Nephrology.

Dr. Nguyen's undergraduate studies were at the University of California, Irvine where he received a B.S. in Biological Sciences, Cum Laude, June 1991. Bang received his Doctor of Osteopathy Degree in June 1995 from The College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Pomona, California. His residency program was from July 1995-June 1998 at Maricopa Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Phoenix, Arizona. Internship was also completed at Maricopa Medical Center from July 1998-July 1999. Dr. Nguyen is Board Certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine.

DAVID E. OELKE, M.D. Coos Bay
Dr. Oelke received his B.S. from the University of Illinois in 1963 and his medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School in 1966. Dr. Oelke performed his internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and took a three year residency at the same institution. He completed three years with the U.S. Army in Germany. He received Board Certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Oelke is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Basil Pittenger, M.D. was born in
Hamilton, New York and raised in Florence, Oregon. He attended University
of Alaska Fairbanks, where he received a B.S. in Mathematics in 1995 and
continued his education there from 1995 to 1997, majoring in Biochemistry.
He attended medical school at the University of Washington and received his
medical degree there in 2001. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship
in 2002 and his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of
Washington in June 2004. Dr. Pittenger joined NBMC in July 2004. His
practice is limited to Internal Medicine with a specialty interest in
cardiovascular disease. |

RAJESH RAVURI, M.D. Coos Bay
Dr. Ravuri attended Andhra Medical College, AP, India where he received his MBBS, Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees in 1996. His pre-med education was from June 1988 to May 1990, when he graduated among the top 1% of his class in college in A.P., India. He did a one-year internship from 1995-1996 at King George Hospital, A.P., India and was a Resident Medical Officer at Kakinanda Hospital, A.P., India from 1997-1998. He completed his internship at Rush Westlake Hospital, Melrose Park, Illinois in 1990 and Residency at Resurrection-Westlake Hospital, Melrose Park, Illinois in 2002. Dr. Ravuri is a member of American Medical Association, Oregon Medical Association, ACP/ASIM, and Indian Medical Association (IMA), USA. Dr. Ravuri is fluent in English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Dr. Richardson earned his bachelor of arts degree in zoology from UCLA, Los Angeles, California, in 1972. He received his medical degree in 1977 from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. His postgraduate training included an internship in internal medicine at LAC/USC Medical Center from 1977 through 1978 with residencies from 1978 to 1980 at the same hospital. Dr. Richardson received a fellowship in critical care medicine from LAC/USC Medical Center from 1980 through 1981 while serving as a chief resident.
