CHERRY, M.D.     Oncology & Hematology     Coos Bay
Dr. Cherry was born in Rangoon (Yangon), Burma (Mayanmar). She began her medical education at the Institute of Medicine I in Lamaddaw, Rangoon, Burma, 1979-1985. She has been in the US since 1994 at All Children's Hospital University of South Florida as an Associate in Research, Department of Pediatrics. From May 1997 to August 2000 she did a Residency in Internal Medicine at Canton Medical Education Foundation, Canton, OH. From September 2002 to November 2002 she completed a Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN. Her membership in professional societies includes: American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Medical Association, American Society of Hematology, Oregon Medical Association, and Burma Medical Council, Department of Health, Rangoon, Burma. Dr. Cherry began her practice at North Bend Medical Center in February 2003.

BRET A. COOK, M.D.     Oncology & Hematology     Coos Bay
Dr. Cook received a degree in Microbiology in 1990 from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Dr. Cook received a Masters in Science Degree in Pathology in 1994 and was awarded his Medical Degree in 1994 from Fich University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School, North Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Cook completed is Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa in 1977. He attended University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, Colorado where he completed his Oncology requirements in 1999 and his Hematology requirements in 2000. Dr. Cook is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine.
